Have you ever noticed that some people will not comment on blogs, photos or add to an online conversation? Maybe you are one of those persons. Do you make excuses like, “I am far too busy to make write a comment” or “I do not have anything of value to add” or “My writing skills are not up to scratch”. Do feelĀ harassedĀ or alarmed when some well meaning friend ask you to comment on his/her blog? Not worry, you are be part of the ‘spectator group’ and there are millions like you.


There are different participation levels on the internet.
  • Spectators – Read blogs, listen to podcast, watch videos, read customer ratings and previews but will not leave a comment.
  • Critics – Post ratings, comment on blogs, contribute to online conversations and participate in polls.
  • Joiners – Maintain profile on various social networking sites.
  • Creators – Create blogs, groups and forums.
  • Collectors – Use RSS feed, vote for websites, tag photos.
So which of these group do you belong to?
